You don’t often think of Hermès watches as tactical grade, but their second collab with wristwatch site Hodinkee has resulted in the tough but sophisticated H08. The 39mm titanium case has been coated with a matte black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) to make it more resilient to life’s imperfections than the average timepiece. The taupe dial is also subtlety matte finished and multilayered, and another level of refinement is added via the Hermès numerals and the polished ceramic bezel. The movement is a Manufacture Caliber H1837 automatic movement for reliability and 50 hours of power reserve. The H08 comes on a dial-matching taupe silicone strap. It’s already sold out, but you can join the waitlist.
