Air Company has taken a unique approach to their products. We covered their hand sanitizer which used captured CO2 and we’re back to share that they’ve used the same technology to make a wearable fragrance. Eau de Parfum has released the world’s first carbon-negative fragrance, made by capturing CO2 before it enters the atmosphere, transforming it into an alcohol mixture, and distilling it to ethanol. Air Co. then infuses it with scent oils imparting notes of orange peel and fig leaf along with floral aromatics and a base of musk and tobacco. Air Company’s Eau de Parfum is a fascinating project and demonstrates the ways brands can think creatively about sustainability.
