At the end of this month, you’ll have a chance to own a 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.8 with only six miles on it. Yes, you read that correctly. This 24-year-old Porsche Carrera RSR that’s one of only 51 that were built and one of only two with a fully-trimmed interior has an odometer that reads 10 kilometers. This absurdly rare Porsche is so close to brand new that it’s still covered with the factory-applied Cosmoline coating. If you’re not a die-hard Porsche fanatic you might not be aware just how special this car is. Equivalent in stature to a modern GT3 RS, the RSR was a track beast that required factory ordering. It’s propelled by a naturally aspirated 3.8L engine underrated at 350hp and, according to Car and Driver, capable of producing a 0-60 time faster than a Ferrari F40. This all-original example was special-ordered and is decked out in a Polar Silver Metallic paint job with an almost completely red interior. This iconic Porsche will be auctioned as part of RM Sotheby’s exclusive Villa Erba sale on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, on May 27.
