Watch the Trailer for ‘AIR’, the Story of Nike and Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is easily the most influential basketball player of all time. Have your own GOAT player debates amongst your friends all you want, but when it comes to overall influence, there can be only one. Jordan transformed the style and substance of everything surrounding the game, and a lot of that comes out of his iconic partnership with Nike. The duo of Affleck and Damon is back to tell the story of shoe salesman Sonny Vaccaro and how he transformed Nike with Jordan in the upcoming film AIR. From the trailer alone, the film feels like it’s going to tell the Air Jordan story with the kind of energy, flash and style we experienced in Ford v. Ferrari and The Wolf of Wall Street. And they’re doing it with an all-star cast, too. Ben Affleck as Phil Knight. Matt Damon as Sonny Vaccaro. Viola Davis as Michael’s mom, Deloris Jordan. As if those powerhouses weren’t enough, the cast also includes: Jason Bateman, Chris Messina, Chris Tucker, and Marlon Wayans. AIR drops exclusively in theaters on April 5th of this year.
