Daniel Keogh is a self-taught illustrator out of Bendigo, Australia that creates ‘Where’s Waldo’ style pictures that combine all aspects of the Internet into single pieces that are as fun and engaging as they are infuriating and filled with pop culture references you need to find. From Captain Planet and Family Guy, to The Simpsons and American Dad, to South Park and Spider-Man, to Ness and LEGO, there’s something for everyone in each and every one of his pieces. Each and every one of Keogh’s pieces is a montage to all things modern pop culture while still being based in a sort of form and composition that we can all find familiar. As he told Fast Company, “A lot of my earliest memories are sitting at kitchen tables trying to replicate images from Mad Magazine, so I think that’s where the ability to draw cartoons has come from,” says Keogh. We might not get every single reference, but we love every one of his pieces. If you’re interested in purchasing your own illustrated piece of the Internet, Keogh also sells pieces through Sound Merch here.
