You can find the MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West in the neighborhood of Sloterdijk which is part of the larger Westpoort district. Our hotel is conveniently located close to the Sloterdijk train station. From there, it is only one train stop to reach the Central Station and 10 minutes to Schiphol airport. Everything is at the tip of your fingers.

Great area to stay in because the transportation station was right next the hostel.
Staff was great and friendly!
Only advice is elevators do take forever to wait for.
But other than that loveddd this place! Would highly recommend

For $100 a night I would expect a working elevator, better layout for the eating area (it's like ushering farm animals through the line), free luggage storage and more outlets. In the 4 person shared room 2 beds were side by side, do you expect us to sleep together? What if it was a girl next to a creepy guy? That seems like a very dangerous situation to push people into don't you think?
