To celebrate the 50th anniversary of their classic folding instant camera, vintage tech brand Retrospekt has released a stunning gold edition of the Polaroid SX-70 Instant Film Camera. The limited edition release was made from vintage cameras that had been completely disassembled, cleaned, and re-calibrated before receiving 24k gold plating. Leather embossings and detailings were added with the anniversary emblem and individual unit numbers. Each Gold SX-70 also ships with a polishing cloth and camera manual and Retrospekt has confirmed that these repurposed anniversary editions should last users another lifetime of use. The 50th Anniversary Edition SX-70s have been limited to just 50 units with each gold Polaroid instant film camera retailing for $999.
