You know who hates vertical videos? Everyone. Except millennials apparently, because they’re the target market for Samsung’s latest TV, The Sero. If their press release is to be believed–and we have no reason to doubt it–Samsung South Korea is targeting both millennials and baby boomers with their new 43″ TV The Sero that includes an easel and can easily be switched from horizontal to vertical orientation in order to accommodate NFC streaming in both modes. This is Samsung we’re talking about, so they packed in plenty of features that we’re also interested in. NFC communication and streaming. Bixby voice assistant. 60W 4.1 channel speakers. Whether you’re using it to stream vertical videos in hi-res with multi-channel audio, or using it in a more normal portrait orientation, it’s still an impressive TV even if it wasn’t designed specifically for your generation. The ability to screen-mirror even in a more common vertical phone mode does add quite a few benefits that even we wouldn’t have admitted we were interested in.
