Shockingly, there are few mobile printers on the market designed to spit out the pictures on your phone. Considering how many people use their phone as their camera, the Polaroid Zip is a long time coming. The printer is the size of your phone and uses Bluetooth or NFC technology to print a photo in under a minute. Best of all, you don’t need to deal with tiny, expensive ink cartridges; Zip uses special ZINK paper, which, while somewhat pricey—$25/50 sheets—is nowhere close to the insanity a handful of ink cartridges would run you. The mobile printer works in conjunction with an app to deliver 2″ x 3″ prints that can be turned into stickers by peeling the backs off. Zip ships May 1.
