IKEA and Teenage Engineering Teamed Up for a Collection of Electronics

Teenage Engineering has built a cult following thanks to its attractive, completely unique range of electronics. (The brand’s pocket synth, which looks like someone ripped the face of a TI-83, is a personal fave.) Next year you’ll have a chance to get your hands on some of the the sought-after gear, and all it will take is a trip to your local IKEA. The two companies are teaming up for FREKVENS, a collection of quirky audio products that will only cost you $5–$95, according to AdAge. The range will include a turntable, some funky speakers, and even lighting so you can turn your living room into some sort of weird-ass nightclub. The idea here is to bring the party to your pad, so blinking lights connect to the speakers and form a what looks like a sort of mini DJ booth. The collection should hit stores early next year.
