There are plenty of other so called “portable charging cables” on the market, but few of them are as good as the LifeLink option. The other options are difficult to get off your keys, inflexible or too bulky. The stock cables are too much of a pain when you’re on the go and you just need a few more minutes of juice to squeeze out that last tweet, Instagram or Facebook post. Each LifeLink cable is about the size the credit card and only about two credit cards thick. Take it apart at the puzzle piece notches and it expands to about 7″ of flexible utility. You don’t need to sit it immediately next to your laptop like the credit card “cables,” or build a weird stand out of phone books to charge it with a wall adapter in a hotel room. The perforated design and Teflon cable that make it flexible also make it durable. And you can just throw it in your wallet or a card slot and forget about it til you need it.
