Most earplugs drown out some noise. The world doesn’t go silent; it gets turned down. That might help some people get sleep, but for others it offers little. Bose is looking to offer an alternative, a pair of advanced earbuds for those who really need to get some rest. What makes Bose Noise-Masking Sleepbuds different from standard earplugs? A lot. They’re powered by rechargeable silver-zinc micro-batteries, which offer enough power for two nights on a single charge. What are the batteries for, you might ask? The thing that really makes these unique, as they mask any additional sound coming from the street below or the baby an aisle over with soothing sounds. You can even set an alarm through the Bose Sleep app. Unfortunately, Bose is testing these with a small audience of Indiegogo backers and every pair is accounted for. After the company receives feedback and makes tweaks, you’ll be able to get your pair and finally get some sleep.
